Marte Moves to Leadoff in New Diamondbacks Strategy

While Marte and Carroll are known for their aggressive swings, Geraldo Perdomo's placement at third in the batting order is intended to offer protection. Perdomo's ability to sustain longer at-bats is seen as a valuable asset to support the hitters ahead of him.
