Detroit Marathon: Finish Line Thrills Await!

The 49th Detroit Free Press Marathon is scheduled to commence at 7 a.m. this Sunday, October 18th. Enthusiasts will be able to witness the race's climax as participants cross the finish line located at Woodward and Congress, just south of Campus Martius. This year's marathon includes notable participants, such as Ferndale resident Andy Bowman, who is vying for his third consecutive victory. Additionally, the event may feature Kelly Hudson and Lucas Woodward of Canton racing to the finish line shortly before their planned wedding.

For those eager to follow the action, a live stream will broadcast the moments runners cross the finish. Furthermore, participants can be tracked using the official Detroit marathon mobile application. This ensures fans can keep up with their preferred runners throughout the race.
