Watson shines in preseason return, but QB1 decision looms

Despite the encouraging moments, Monken emphasized that the starting quarterback position has not yet been decided. The team plans to continue evaluating Sanders and Watson, with Sanders expected to start the next preseason game and Watson playing the third quarter.

The Browns face further evaluation in their upcoming games, including one against the Bills and a final preseason matchup against the New England Patriots on August 27. The coaching staff and players will review performances and discussions to finalize the starting quarterback decision soon.
