Delhi emerged victorious in the senior women's one-day trophy (elite) final, securing their second title in the format. They achieved a seven-wicket win over Railways in Mohali.
Chasing a target of 134, Delhi comfortably reached the score within 29 overs. Opener Priya Punia was instrumental, top-scoring with 76 runs off 90 balls, supported by Pragya Rawat's 46.
Earlier, Railways opted to bat but were restricted to 133 all out. Dayalan Hemalatha fought valiantly with 64 runs, but lacked support, with Poonam Yadav managing only 19.
Delhi's bowlers were highly effective, with Parunika Sisodia taking three wickets for 25 runs. Soni Yadav, Nazma, and Disha Nagar each contributed two wickets.
