In a high-voltage clash, Delhi Capitals established a new Women's Premier League record by scoring 203/4 in the final against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on February 5, 2026. This monumental total marks the highest ever achieved in a WPL final.
Captain Jemimah Rodrigues was the star performer, smashing a rapid 57 off 37 deliveries. Her innings, featuring eight boundaries, was the second quickest half-century in WPL playoffs. She was supported by Laura Wolvaardt, who contributed a valuable 44 from 25 balls.
Despite a cautious start, Delhi Capitals accelerated significantly, especially after the opening partnership. Late fireworks from Chinelle Henry, who remained unbeaten on 35 from just 15 balls, propelled the team past the 200-run mark. Royal Challengers Bengaluru's bowlers, including Sayali Satghare, Arundhati Reddy, and Nadine de Klerk, each took one wicket but struggled to contain the Delhi onslaught.
