Draymond Green, reflecting on past draft scenarios, believes Peterson's workout choices hold little weight for the Jazz. He cited Stephen Curry's 2009 draft, where Curry did not work out for the Golden State Warriors but still became a franchise cornerstone. Green asserted that if the Jazz identify Peterson as their target, his workout decisions will not deter them from selecting him.

This viewpoint is consistent with the Jazz's recent draft history. Last year, the team selected players like Ace Bailey and Walter Clayton Jr., neither of whom conducted pre-draft workouts with Utah.
