Four pediatric patients from Advocate Children's Hospital recently experienced a unique opportunity at Wrigley Field. They met members of the Chicago Cubs baseball team and participated in a special VIP experience. The young fans had the chance to sign custom trading cards created for the players. During their visit, the patients received baseball tips from Cubs player Pete-Crow Armstrong. They also received special necklaces from player Daniel Palencia, making their day unforgettable. Among the featured patients were 8-year-old twins Benjamin and Noah Prepelica, who have battled congenital heart defects. Jackson "JD" Stocking, 13, is recovering from a serious brain injury and dreams of returning to playing baseball. James Solotorovsky, 8, recently became cancer-free after a battle with acute myeloid leukemia. His fight was bolstered by cheering on the Cubs and displaying their "W" flag.
