In a recent interview, Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah has revealed that his 1-year-old son Angad is the 'boss' of their household. Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan, who got married in March 2021, welcomed their first child in September 2023.
The fast bowler admitted that his and Sanjana's life currently revolves around Angad, and they are adjusting their lifestyle as per his convenience. Bumrah endearingly stated that if Angad says it's time to sleep or wake up, they listen to him.
Sanjana, a noted sports anchor, explained that there is no single 'boss' of the house, but they have divided responsibilities between themselves. She takes care of Angad's upbringing, while Bumrah focuses on his cricket career.
Bumrah praised Sanjana for taking full responsibility of their child, which has allowed him to concentrate on his playing duties. He said, "When Angad was small, she took care of upbringing and all. She took care of all responsibilities nicely, which is why I could play."
Angad was seen with both Bumrah and Sanjana after India's triumph in the 2024 T20 World Cup final against South Africa in Barbados. The couple has managed to keep their relationship low-key since their dating phase, but they are now openly sharing their journey as new parents.
