In the previous season, he conceded only a single touchdown across 366 coverage snaps, giving up an average of just 15 yards per game and allowing a passer rating of 57.8 when targeted, according to Pro Football Focus. Over three years with the Longhorns, he recorded 97 tackles, one sack, 19 pass breakups, and three interceptions in 41 games, indicating his effectiveness in limiting opponent passing attempts.

While linebacker remains a priority, acquiring a player like Muhammad in the later rounds of the draft could provide valuable depth to the Cowboys' defense. His local ties and proven coverage abilities make him an attractive prospect for the team as they prepare for the upcoming draft.
