Lampard acknowledged that the team lacks extensive Premier League experience but stressed that the players' dedication and hard work during the Championship season warrant their chance. Coventry City achieved a dominant performance, finishing 11 points ahead in the Championship standings. The club has retained the core of its promotion-winning team, with only midfielder Jamie Allen released. Furthermore, midfielder Frank Onyeka's loan spell from Brentford is set to transition into a permanent transfer on July 1st.
