Coventry City Nears €20M Amenda Swoop from Frankfurt

Coventry City is on the verge of securing the signing of Aurèle Amenda from Eintracht Frankfurt, according to recent reports. Negotiations between the two clubs are described as being "essentially complete," with only minor details left to finalize.

The transfer fee for the Swiss international is expected to be up to €20 million, which includes potential bonuses. Amenda himself is said to be enthusiastic about the prospect of joining the newly-promoted Premier League side.

Amenda originally transferred to Eintracht Frankfurt from Young Boys in January 2024 for a reported fee of €9.5 million. During the last season, the 22-year-old defender made 29 appearances for his current club, starting in 20 of those matches.
