Having started racing at age five, Zilisch's early career showed promise in go-karts across Europe, including a notable win against future F1 contender Kimi Antonelli. Due to funding challenges, he shifted focus to NASCAR.
His stock soared in 2024 with class victories at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring. He also secured a debut win in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series that year, followed by ten wins and a regular-season championship in 2025.
This season, Zilisch competes full-time in the Cup Series with Trackhouse Racing, aiming to build on his experience before transitioning to Hendrick Motorsports.
