Como is once again dreaming of Champions League success following their emphatic 4-1 victory over Manchester United. The team, under the guidance of Cesc Fabregas, is set to face Lens in France as they aim to improve their position in the 2026/2027 league phase standings.
Currently, Como holds a favorable position, sitting two points behind eighth-placed Bayern Munich. Their recent win provides a significant boost as they prepare for the match at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis. Lens, on the other hand, is looking to recover after two consecutive defeats.
The match saw several key moments, including goals from Douvikas in the 7th and 32nd minutes. A penalty appeal for Lens was controversially overturned by VAR, adding to the drama of the encounter. Despite a scare with a head collision between Ivanovic and Kempf, both players recovered.
