As the Washington Commanders continue their 2025 season, they have faced a number of injury challenges, including to their star quarterback Jayden Daniels. The sophomore signal-caller has already missed multiple games this year due to various ailments, and his injury woes continued in the team's Week 9 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
In the fourth quarter of what was becoming a blowout loss for the Commanders, Daniels remained in the game, taking snaps as Washington threatened to find the end zone. However, on a 2nd & Goal play, Daniels was tackled by Seahawks linebacker Drake Thomas, with the quarterback's left arm, his non-throwing arm, appearing to get caught beneath him as he was brought to the ground.
Daniels remained on the field in pain after the play, and trainers and coaches immediately attended to him. He ultimately left the game with his left arm in a cast, as his concerned teammates surrounded him. Daniels walked back to the locker room under his own power.
