The Colorado Buffaloes have significantly upgraded their wide receiver unit through the transfer portal, highlighted by the addition of Danny Scudero from San Jose State. Coach Deion Sanders praised Scudero as a "game changer" and "playmaker," noting his versatility and strong work ethic.
Scudero was a standout performer in 2025, leading the nation with 1,297 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He previously played for Sacramento State, where he recorded 53 receptions for 667 yards and five touchdowns in 2024.
This influx of talent comes as Colorado lost its previous top receiver, Omarion Miller, to Arizona State. Beyond Scudero, the Buffaloes have also added DeAndre Moore Jr. (a four-star recruit), Ernest Campbell, and Kam Perry to their receiving depth.
Moore Jr. arrives from Texas, bringing 988 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns from 2023-2025. Ernest Campbell reunites with offensive coordinator Brennan Marion, his former coach at Sacramento State, adding speed and big-play potential. Kam Perry contributes four seasons of experience from Miami (Ohio) and Indiana, totaling 1,164 receiving yards.
