Colorado Buffaloes Seek Redemption Against TCU Horned Frogs

As of October 5th, 2025, the Colorado Buffaloes football team is set to face a tough challenge as they travel to Fort Worth to take on the TCU Horned Frogs. Both teams are coming off close 3-point losses in their previous games, and they are now desperate for a win to keep their seasons on track.

For Colorado, a victory would mean getting their middling season back on the right path, while TCU is still chasing their Big 12 title aspirations. The Buffaloes enter the game as fierce underdogs, but they have shown signs of improvement in their offense over the past few weeks.

After last week's close loss to BYU, Colorado finally seems to have found an offensive identity that works for them. Leaning on the run game, staying ahead of the chains, and utilizing their playmakers in open space will be crucial for the Buffaloes if they want to pull off the upset. Additionally, they'll need to find ways to create explosive plays in the passing game, as they were limited to just a 26-yard completion against BYU.

On the defensive side, Colorado will need to focus on containing TCU's air raid offense and limiting the Horned Frogs' ability to make big plays. The Buffaloes have struggled to defend the quarterback run and option, and they'll need to be disciplined in their assignments to avoid giving up easy yards to TCU's offense.

Overall, this matchup between two desperate teams promises to be an exciting and hard-fought battle, with both sides looking to bounce back from their recent setbacks and keep their seasons alive.
