College Football Risers: 5 Stars Set to Shine

College football teams are deep into fall camp, showcasing established stars and emerging talents. At Ohio State, transfer receiver Devin McCuin is making a strong case for the No. 2 position behind Jeremiah Smith. Miami's defense will rely on returning starter Justin Scott, a former five-star prospect now embracing a leadership role.

True freshman running back EJ Crowell has impressed Alabama's coaching staff, reclassifying from the 2027 class and showing readiness for significant playing time. Texas safety Jelani McDonald is also stepping into a leadership role, with coach Steve Sarkisian questioning the lack of buzz around him. Indiana's sophomore safety Byron Baldwin Jr. is expected to break out after recovering from an injury that sidelined him early last season.
