Clemson's Cade Klubnik Aims to Shatter Program Records

As the 2025 college football season approaches, all eyes are on Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik. The junior is coming off a record-setting 2024 campaign, and analysts are predicting an even bigger year ahead.

Klubnik threw 36 touchdown passes last season, tying Clemson legends Tajh Boyd and Trevor Lawrence for the second-most in program history. He led all quarterbacks nationally in touchdowns with six or fewer interceptions and finished with 43 total scores, ranking sixth in school history. Klubnik's 4,102 yards of offense made him just the seventh Tiger ever to surpass 4,000 in a season.

Analyst EJ Manuel praised Klubnik's growth, highlighting his resilience and improved decision-making. The offensive line's transformation under new coach Matt Luke has also been a key factor, according to analyst Roddy Jones. "The improvement on that offensive line was significant over the course of last season," Jones said. "They got so much better with that, that it helped both Cade Klubnik in the run game, and the run game in general."

With Klubnik leading the way and the offensive line providing strong support, Clemson is poised for a big season. The Tigers, ranked No. 4, will host No. 9 LSU in a highly anticipated season opener on August 30.
