Summary
- Clemson hosts Penn State defensive back Kenny Woseley Jr. on campus.
- Woseley Jr. played under defensive coordinator Tom Allen at Penn State.
- Virginia Tech is also a contender for Woseley Jr.'s commitment.

The Clemson Tigers continue their aggressive pursuit of defensive talent through the transfer portal, with Penn State defensive back Kenny Woseley Jr. visiting campus on Wednesday. Woseley Jr. is familiar with Clemson's defensive coordinator, Tom Allen, having played under him during the 2024 season at Penn State, where he redshirted. Despite limited action, he recorded 10 total tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss in 2025.
Ranked as the No. 36 cornerback in the transfer portal by On3, Woseley Jr. brings three years of eligibility and could be a significant asset to Clemson's secondary, which has seen key departures to the NFL Draft and other programs. However, the Tigers face competition from Virginia Tech, with new Hokies head coach James Franklin, who recruited Woseley Jr. out of high school, potentially holding sway.
Clemson has already secured six defensive transfers in three days, including Jerome Carter III, Donovan Starr, and Corey Myrick, and potentially former teammate Elliot Washington II. Woseley Jr.'s commitment would provide depth and reunite him with Allen, offering a chance to continue their development together. The Philadelphia native was a three-star recruit in the 2024 class.
