The City of London Nocturne is set to transform the financial district into a vibrant cycling hub this weekend, June 12th and 13th, 2026. The event spans two action-packed days, commencing with the GOSH City Criterium on Friday, a new charity Pro-Am team challenge. This unique race will see corporate teams joined by professional cyclists, including Olympic champion Ed Clancy and Giro d'Italia stage winner Alex Dowsett, racing for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Saturday promises a full day of competitive cycling on a thrilling 1.3 km closed-road circuit. The programme, running from midday to 10 pm, includes diverse events such as the Brompton Folding Bike Race, the Voi Bike Challenge, and the Limitless Race for para cyclists. Spectators can also witness Guinness World Records title attempts, including one with the world's largest Penny Farthing.
The day culminates in high-stakes elite men's and women's criterium races, featuring top British and international talent like British Criterium Champion Kate Richardson and Canadian Champion Mathias Guillemette. A festive atmosphere will be enhanced by the Cheapside Business Alliance Fan Zone. Attendance is free, and elite races will be broadcast live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.
