Citi Field is set to enhance its culinary offerings for the 2026 season, introducing 37 new items from 27 vendors. The stadium aims to provide a well-rounded food experience, highlighting unique stories and backgrounds of its partners.
This season features notable additions such as Mookie Wilson's barbecue creations and Puerto Rican empanadas from Bronx-born chef Zina Bunch. These new options join a diverse array of flavors designed to satisfy fans. Chef Jason Eksterowicz of Aramark described the team's partners as a "food family."
For the third consecutive year, Citi Field has been recognized by USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Award for best baseball stadium food. The home opener is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, against the Pittsburgh Pirates, with several highlighted dishes available for fans to explore.
Among the new attractions are "Eat in the Cave's" vegan-friendly veggie nadas, Pig Beach BBQ's loaded cornbread with pulled pork, and Taqueria Ramirez's flavorful nopales tacos. Legacy Catering by Mookie Wilson offers smoked pulled-chicken sliders, while Willets Point Brewery presents a backyard BBQ burger and a "9-9-9 challenge" with mini hot dogs and beers.
Other notable newcomers include The Queensboro's kimchi reuben, Adam Richman's Burger Hall of Fame caprese burger, and a chopped Italian sausage sandwich from Amazin' Deli. Sweet options feature Hildebrandt Ice Cream's Blue & Orange Skies flavor and Pat LaFrieda's apple pie cheesecake.
