Christian Horner has expressed a strong desire to return to Formula One, stating he has "unfinished business" in the sport. Horner was dismissed from his role at Red Bull on July 8th, following a scandal involving accusations of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour by a female staff member. An internal investigation by KCs cleared him of wrongdoing.
Horner broke his silence at the European Motor Show in Dublin, revealing he turned down a larger settlement to facilitate an earlier return. He stated he misses Formula One and its people but will only rejoin a team with a winning mentality, where he can be a partner. He indicated that while flattered by numerous team associations, his return is contingent on the right opportunity.
Despite being linked with roles at various teams, including Aston Martin, Horner's next move remains undecided. The possibility of him leading Ferrari or owning Alpine are also being considered, along with potentially starting a new Formula One team.
