Maresca Reassures Frustrated Guiu: "You'll Get Your Chances"

True to Maresca's word, Guiu did not have to wait long. He made a 16-minute cameo appearance against Liverpool, and his involvement further increased after the international break. Last weekend, Guiu was among Chelsea's three half-time substitutes in the win at Nottingham Forest.
While Guiu is yet to provide a goal or an assist for Chelsea, he has made a positive impact in the games he has played. And with Joao Pedro suspended for the upcoming Champions League clash with Ajax, Guiu could now earn his first start for the club on Wednesday.
"We trust Marc," Maresca said in a recent press conference. "We gave him some Premier League minutes, which shows we trust Marc. Now he's with us (following his loan recall) and he's going to play games for us, for sure."
