Cheboygan Stars Earn All-State Soccer Honors

Cheboygan's standout senior girls soccer players, Morgan Davis and Jaelyn Wheelock, have earned Division 3 all-state honorable mentions from the Michigan Interscholastic High School Soccer Coaches Association. The duo were key contributors to the Chiefs' successful campaign, which saw them secure a third-place finish in the Northern Shores Conference and achieve an opening-round district victory.

Davis, recognized for her consistent performance and goal-scoring prowess, was named Cheboygan's best offensive player and earned first-team honors in the Northern Shores Conference, as well as all-region and all-district selections. Wheelock, also a vital presence in midfield and attack, was selected to the NSC second team, all-region, and all-district teams, and was named the team's most valuable player. Davis plans to continue her soccer journey at Alpena Community College.
