Ten-Man Celtic Earn Crucial Draw in Bologna

Ten-man Celtic secured a crucial Europa League draw in Bologna, keeping their progression hopes alive. The visitors took a surprising 2-0 lead into halftime, with goals from Reo Hatate and Auston Trusty. However, Celtic's advantage was diminished when Reo Hatate received two yellow cards in quick succession, reducing the team to ten players.

Bologna seized control in the second half, applying significant pressure. Thijs Dallinga pulled one back for the hosts, and Jonathan Rowe quickly added an equalizer. Despite numerous second-half chances and hitting the crossbar, Bologna could not find a winning goal.

Celtic will now face Utrecht at home on the final matchday, where a win will be required to secure a place in the knockout play-offs. The previous encounter saw Celtic secure a valuable point against Bologna.
