Canucks' UBS Arena Streak Continues Despite Rough Start
13 Oct
Summary
- Vancouver boasts a perfect 5-0 record at UBS Arena.
- The team has been outscored significantly this season.
- Canucks aim to extend their undefeated streak at UBS Arena.
The Vancouver Canucks are experiencing a difficult start to their season, holding a 2-5-0 record under coach Manny Malhotra. They have been outscored 35-24 and are currently on a four-game losing streak.
However, a remarkable undefeated streak at UBS Arena offers a contrasting positive. Since the venue opened, the Canucks have played five games there and won all five in regulation time. Their perfect record includes victories on March 3, 2022, February 9, 2023, January 9, 2024, March 26, 2025, and December 19, 2025.
The Canucks are set to face the New York Islanders on Tuesday night, looking to extend this unique unbeaten run. This contrasts with their recent performance, having lost 6-2 to the Rangers on Sunday. The Islanders, meanwhile, are alternating wins and losses and are seeking to rebound after a 5-3 defeat to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
