Braley Returns to Gloucester for Prem Rugby Cup Clash
19 Feb
Summary
- Callum Braley rejoins Gloucester on a short-term deal.
- Braley previously played over 100 games for the club.
- He was re-registered and named on the bench for Friday's match.

Scrum-half Callum Braley has returned to Gloucester Rugby, signing a short-term contract and poised for his second debut. Braley is set to feature in Friday's Prem Rugby Cup fixture against Sale.
His previous tenure with the club spanned six years, during which he amassed over 100 appearances before his departure to Benetton in 2020. Braley has been training with Gloucester since January, and following his re-registration, he has been named as a replacement.
This move comes after an injury to the team's primary number nine, Mike Austin. Gloucester's scrum and assistant forwards coach, Trevor Woodman, noted Braley's desire to return, stating he felt unfinished business with the game and wished to ensure he didn't leave it prematurely.
