Cal's Offense Explodes: Sagapolutele & Mohammed Set Records

Cal's football team secured a commanding 49-7 victory over Wagner, with key offensive players achieving career milestones. Quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele delivered a standout performance, throwing for 413 yards and three touchdowns, surpassing his previous yardage record from the 2025 Hawai'i Bowl.

Running back Adam Mohammed was another offensive force, rushing for a career-best 169 all-purpose yards and scoring three touchdowns. His performance included an opening drive touchdown and a 65-yard reception for another score.

On the defensive side, Kingston Lopa's season continues to impress. His interception in the game marked his fifth of the season, putting him in strong contention to break the program's single-season record, a mark previously held by Nohl Williams in 2024.

Despite the dominant win, Cal incurred several blocking penalties, including four holding infractions. The Bears now prepare to face a significantly tougher opponent in Clemson next week, who recently defeated North Carolina.
