A legendary former player has expressed significant dissatisfaction regarding the circumstances surrounding his former club's recent league title victory. The striker stated he is "not okay" with the way the Buccaneers secured their league championship, which ended a 14-year drought. This sentiment arises despite the team's remarkable success this season. The Buccaneers achieved a sensational treble, clinching the MTN8, Carling Knockout Cup, and finally the Premier Soccer League title. However, the manner of their final-day league win has cast a shadow over these celebrations. While the team managed to dethrone Mamelodi Sundowns, the former forward believes the events of the final matchday have overshadowed the magnitude of the achievement.
