The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed two notable NFL veterans, linebacker Alex Anzalone and running back Kenneth Gainwell, to two-year contracts as of March 2026. Anzalone's deal is reportedly worth $17 million, while Gainwell's contract is valued at $14 million.
Anzalone, 31, was a five-year captain for the Detroit Lions and played a crucial role in their revival. He achieved a career-high 129 tackles in 2023 and managed 63 tackles in 10 games during the recently concluded 2024 season despite a broken forearm.
Gainwell, 26, is coming off his most productive NFL season in 2025 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He set personal bests with 537 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns, also leading the team with 73 receptions for 486 receiving yards and three scores.
Gainwell previously spent four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, earning a Super Bowl ring in February 2025. His NFL career totals include 1,722 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns, with 175 receptions for 1,207 yards and four receiving touchdowns.
