The Philadelphia Phillies are reportedly preparing for a significant offseason overhaul following their recent postseason elimination. As the team ages and their championship window narrows, a major shake-up is being considered.
One surprising name that could be available via trade is former National League MVP Bryce Harper. This potential move could signal a new direction for the Phillies as they aim to retool.
The Boston Red Sox are identified as a potential trade partner, needing a middle-of-the-order bat and possessing the financial capability to absorb Harper's contract.
The Chicago Cubs, seeking to bolster their offense as key sluggers face free agency, could also pursue Harper to enhance their contention status.
The New York Yankees, frustrated by recent playoff failures, might look to pair Harper with Aaron Judge to strengthen their lineup and signal an 'all-in' approach.
