Bruins Star Pastrnak Scores 400th and 401st NHL Goals in Thrilling Victory

Pastrnak's former Bruins teammate, Milan Lucic, took to social media to share a heartfelt message acknowledging the achievement.

Pastrnak's 400th goal came just 49 seconds into the second period, as he executed a breakaway finish that sparked a celebratory reaction from his teammates. He later added a 401st goal on a power play, helping secure the win and extend Boston's home winning streak.

In a touching gesture, Lucic reposted a carousel from the Bruins' official Instagram account, featuring a photo of Pastrnak holding the 400-goal puck. Lucic captioned the post, "400 for my brother," tagging Pastrnak. The two players first played together during the 2014-15 season, Pastrnak's rookie year and Lucic's final season with the Bruins. They were reunited when Lucic returned to the team for the 2023-24 season.

Pastrnak's 400th goal places him sixth in Bruins franchise history, trailing legends such as Johnny Bucyk and Phil Esposito. The 27-year-old forward has also compiled approximately 453 assists across 773 regular-season games and remains under contract with Boston through an eight-year, $90 million deal.

Earlier this month, Milan Lucic made his long-anticipated AHL debut with the Springfield Thunderbirds, drawing a sold-out crowd to the MassMutual Center for his first-ever appearance in the league. The 37-year-old veteran forward joined Springfield on a professional tryout contract after attending St. Louis Blues training camp earlier in the fall.
