Broncos Injury Bug: Key Players Out for Cardinals Game
25 Oct
Summary
- Rapp and Fresch elevated from practice squad for Week 7.
- Badie and Elliss placed on injured reserve, miss four games.
- Broncos face Cardinals as road favorites in Week 7.

The Denver Broncos initiated several roster changes in preparation for their Week 7 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Safety Taylor Rapp and cornerback Sean Fresch were elevated from the practice squad to the game-day roster.
Rapp's promotion fills a void left by starting safety Talanoa Hufanga, who remains sidelined with an ankle injury. Fresch has seen action in recent weeks, including returning a kick in the previous game. Conversely, running back Tyler Badie and outside linebacker Jonah Elliss have been placed on the short-term injured reserve list.
Badie sustained a thumb injury during pass protection in the Week 6 win, while Elliss suffered an ankle injury late in the same game. Both players are now expected to miss a minimum of four games and will be eligible to return in Week 12. The Broncos will play the Cardinals on Sunday, entering the game as road favorites.
