22 May
Summary
- Sykes scored 27, 38, and 31 points in her last three games.
- Toronto Tempo is 4-1 against the spread this season.
- Minnesota Lynx are playing without key player Napheesa Collier.
Brittney Sykes is driving the Toronto Tempo's offense, coming off an impressive scoring streak. In her last three games, she has tallied 27, 38, and 31 points respectively. This surge has coincided with two recent victories for the Tempo against the Phoenix Mercury and Los Angeles Sparks.
The Toronto Tempo currently holds a winning record and a 4-1 record against the spread. Sykes is averaging 25.6 points per game, showcasing both volume and efficiency. Her performance has been crucial, especially with the team facing frontcourt challenges, as Temi Fagbenle has been ruled out and Nyara Sabally is doubtful for the upcoming game against the Minnesota Lynx.
The Minnesota Lynx are contending with the absence of Napheesa Collier. They have a 2-2 record this season, relying on Courtney Williams, Kayla McBride, and rookie Olivia Miles. The Lynx defense, ranked ninth in the WNBA, faces a significant test against Sykes' potent scoring ability and the Tempo's offensive tempo.
