Ex-Luton Striker Adebayo Signs Two-Year Deal with Bristol City

Bristol City has bolstered its attacking options with the signing of Elijah Adebayo. The 28-year-old forward penned a two-year contract with the Championship club. Adebayo arrives at Ashton Gate following his departure from Luton Town, where he spent three seasons. During his tenure at Kenilworth Road, he netted 47 goals across 184 matches. He was instrumental in Luton's promotion to the Premier League in 2023, even scoring their first-ever top-flight hat-trick.

Manager Michael Skubala welcomed Adebayo as the club's tenth summer acquisition. Skubala conveyed his eagerness to integrate the new signing, highlighting his distinct qualities in the forward line. "We know what a good player Elijah is and he gives us something different going forward," Skubala stated. The manager also noted that Adebayo has already integrated well with the squad during pre-season training, expressing confidence in his addition to the group.
