Thousands of runners participated in the Brighton Half-Marathon on Sunday, a popular 13.1-mile event along the city's seafront. The race was officially started by Olly Alexander, the singer and actor who recently represented the UK at Eurovision. Former detective Amanda Collier, known from The Traitors, was also there to support her wife, who was running her first half-marathon. Maisie Trafford emerged as the winner of the women's race, achieving a personal best with a finish time of one hour, 17 minutes, and 32 seconds. Despite challenging weather, the atmosphere was reported as highly positive by participants, who praised the city of Brighton as a great venue for the run.
