According to Hurzeler, midfielder Brajan Gruda is unavailable due to a knee injury, and forward Diego Gomez's status is uncertain after returning from international duty with a thigh problem.
The availability of two other key players, Karou Mitoma and Joel Veltman, is also in question, with Hurzeler stating that they are "in training" but there is "still a question mark" over whether they will be able to feature in the match. However, there is some positive news, as winger Solly March could make a return "by the end of the year" if his rehabilitation continues to progress well.
Hurzeler acknowledged the team's ongoing injury issues, stating that it is "the same issue we had last season." However, he remains optimistic, saying, "You will never hear me complaining about these things because we try to find solutions." The manager also used the international break to "refresh" and "reflect and analyse" the team's performance and results, which he believes will be decided by "small margins."
