17 Dec, 2025
Summary

- Playoff berth hinges on Bears' win and Lions' loss.
- Rematch evokes memories of the Bears' 2018 successful season.
The Chicago Bears are intensely focused on their upcoming rematch against the Green Bay Packers, a game critical for their playoff hopes. A win is essential for Chicago to advance to the postseason for the first time since 2020. Their playoff clinching scenario depends on a victory over the Packers and a loss by the Detroit Lions in their own matchup.
The current Bears season mirrors the team's last winning season in 2018, a year that also saw them defeat the Packers in Chicago to clinch the NFC North. This historical parallel adds significant weight to the upcoming game, as players express a strong desire for revenge following a previous loss to Green Bay.
With both teams battling for playoff positioning and seeding, the rivalry game is imbued with heightened significance. Players like Grady Jarrett emphasize the emotional stakes, aiming to prove the Bears' readiness as a legitimate playoff contender against their longtime rivals. The game is scheduled for Saturday night at Soldier Field.
