Chicago Bears coach Ben Johnson has set an ambitious target for the team's offense, aiming for it to be the highest-scoring in NFL history. While a top-five ranking is considered achievable, the ultimate goal of becoming the greatest of all time is acknowledged as a challenging, albeit exciting, prospect for the upcoming season.

The focus is on the potential passing game, with quarterback Caleb Williams expected to surpass 4,000 yards. This raises questions about which receivers will significantly contribute. While Jahdae Walker, Kalif Raymond, and Cole Kmet are unlikely to reach 1,000 receiving yards, Luther Burden, Rome Odunze, and Colston Loveland are identified as capable candidates.

However, projections suggest that only Luther Burden will achieve over 1,000 receiving yards, with an estimated 1,100 yards. Rome Odunze is expected to play a key role but fall around 800 yards, while Colston Loveland, despite a strong finish last season, is projected to reach approximately 950 yards if he plays 15 games.

If these yardage estimates hold, the combined receiving yards for the top trio would be around 2,850. With contributions from other players like Raymond, Kmet, and Swift, the total passing yards could approach 4,700. This diverse offensive talent makes Burden the likely standout receiver for the 1,000-yard milestone.
