Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund has firmly denied any concrete contact with Bayer Leverkusen's Christian Kofane amidst transfer speculation. Freund indicated that while general discussions occur in the transfer market, Bayern is not making any official statements on the matter.
His comments come after Kofane's agent, Eric Depolo, revealed to the Daily Arsenal website that numerous top European clubs are interested in the 19-year-old forward. Arsenal has reportedly shown significant interest.
Kofane transferred from Spanish club Albacete Balompie to Leverkusen earlier this season. The German club invested approximately five million euros to secure his services until 2029.
