Paris Saint-Germain has been linked with Torres, though no formal bid has been made. The forward had a mixed 2025-26 season, scoring 21 goals in 49 appearances but also experiencing a 14-game scoring drought. His potential departure, alongside Robert Lewandowski's confirmed exit to Chicago Fire, would leave Barcelona needing to reinforce their attacking options. Despite signing Anthony Gordon and nearing a deal for Karim Adeyemi, Julian Alvarez remains Barcelona's top target for the number nine position.
