Sporting director Deco pointed to a disallowed goal from Pau Cubarsi in the first leg as a pivotal moment. He stated that if the goal had counted, the aggregate score would have been 4-1, potentially leading to extra time in the second leg.
Deco, however, refrained from making excuses, commending the team's "magnificent" performance and commitment during the match. He noted that the team dominated possession and generated excitement among the fans, which is a positive sign for their ongoing season despite facing injuries.
