Bangladesh, under the captaincy of Najmul Hossain Shanto, will be looking to leverage home advantage to strengthen their position in the World Test Championship 2025-27 points table. Their performance in this series is critical for maintaining their chances of reaching the WTC 2027 final. The West Indies team will be led by Roston Chase, but they will be notably missing the services of Shai Hope and Alzarri Joseph.
