The Dallas Wings will face the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night without rookie guard Azzi Fudd. Fudd has been ruled out of the game due to a right knee issue, as announced by the team on X. This marks the first game Fudd has missed in her nascent WNBA career.
Fudd made her professional debut last Saturday in the season opener against the Indiana Fever. In that contest, she contributed three points off the bench in 18 minutes of play, adding a rebound and a steal. The Wings secured a victory in that game, with Arike Ogunbowale leading scorers and Odyssey Sims and Paige Bueckers also posting strong point totals.
The team, under new head coach Jose Fernandez, is looking to build on a successful start after a challenging 2025 season. Fudd, the first overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, is expected to return for the Wings' home game against the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday.
