Pakistan Women asserted their dominance over Zimbabwe Women with a commanding 153-run victory in their opening T20I encounter. This comprehensive win follows Pakistan's earlier whitewash in the ODI series.
The star of the match was Ayesha Zafar, who achieved her maiden T20I century. She remained unbeaten on 102 runs, compiled off a mere 47 deliveries, featuring 15 boundaries and two sixes. This remarkable performance sets a high bar for the Zimbabwean bowlers.
Pakistan's captain, Fatima Sana, also showcased her bowling prowess. She was instrumental in dismantling Zimbabwe's top order, claiming three crucial wickets for just seven runs in her three-over spell. Her effective bowling puts pressure on the visiting team.
