Arizona State's basketball program recently unveiled a new uniform design that pays homage to its notable alumnus, James Harden. The updated on-court attire creatively integrates elements from Harden's time playing for the Sun Devils with details from his current signature shoe deal.
The uniform features a black base with "Arizona State" in maroon and gold lettering. The number 13, Harden's collegiate jersey number, is prominently displayed. A special crème patch on the back collar also showcases this number in gold, a direct nod to his two seasons with the team from 2007 to 2009.
Further cementing the connection, Harden's signature logo appears on the jersey's collar and the shorts. During his tenure, Harden led the Sun Devils to a 2009 NCAA tournament berth, averaging an impressive 19 points per game. He was subsequently chosen as the third overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft.
