Asia Cup 2023 to Proceed in UAE Despite India-Pakistan Tensions

The BCCI stated that its focus was on the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) and the upcoming England series for both the men's and women's teams, and no decision had been made regarding the Asia Cup or other ACC events.
The Asia Cup's future had been in doubt following the Pahalgam terror attack in June 2022 and India's subsequent military operation. However, it now appears that the tournament will proceed as scheduled, with the UAE likely to host the six-team event.
