Pace Sensation Sharma: From Dusty Lanes to IPL Glory

Indian cricket's newest pace sensation, Ashok Sharma, hails from Rampura, a village located approximately 35 km from Jaipur, Rajasthan. Reaching his home involves navigating unpaved lanes and railway crossings, highlighting a significant divide often seen in rural India.

Despite the challenging access, Sharma's family embraces their village life, valuing its peace over urban luxuries. His elder brother, Akshay, shared that Ashok is not swayed by the lavish lifestyle associated with cricket earnings, preferring his simple routine and homemade food.

Sharma's training regimen is rigorous, focusing on diet, recovery, and sleep, especially after a past knee injury. His father, Nathulal Sharma, recently gifted him an electric scooter, and his mother, Lali Devi, prepares traditional refreshments.
