Summary
- Arsenal generated €25.6m, the highest revenue in Europe.
- Matchday revenue from Emirates Stadium fueled Arsenal's earnings.
- Commercial revenue is the key income stream for women's teams.

Arsenal has achieved a historic milestone, generating the largest revenue in European women's football for the first time. The club's earnings reached €25.6m, largely propelled by substantial matchday income attributed to their move to the Emirates Stadium. This development coincides with a broader trend of financial growth across the sport, as the top 15 clubs experienced an average revenue increase of 35% over the past year.
Chelsea closely follows Arsenal, boasting the highest commercial revenue among the top clubs. Deloitte's report, which excludes data from North America, Australia, and Sweden, indicates that commercial partnerships are the most significant income stream for women's teams, accounting for nearly three-quarters of their total revenue. Matchday revenues also saw a healthy increase of 15% on average.
This marks the fourth year of Deloitte's analysis, and it's the first time the average revenue for these leading clubs has exceeded €10m. While this growth is promising, experts note a widening gap between the highest-earning clubs and the rest, emphasizing the need for sustained investment and strategic effort to build a robust foundation for long-term development in women's football.
