Cardinals Retain Key Defensive Coach for Continuity

Arizona Cardinals' new head coach Mike LaFleur is solidifying his coaching staff, with a notable retention on the defensive side. Linebackers coach Cristian Garcia is expected to remain with the team for the upcoming season. This move provides crucial continuity for the Cardinals' defense.

Garcia was initially hired by former head coach Jonathan Gannon during the previous offseason, having previously served with the Dallas Cowboys and Commanders. His continued presence, alongside the retained defensive coordinator Nick Rallis, is intended to bolster the team's defensive performance.

The Cardinals experienced significant injury setbacks in the past season, impacting key players like linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. This continuity in coaching aims to provide a stable foundation as the team prepares for the next season under LaFleur's leadership.
